Baer Winery: Woodinville Wine Country’s Featured Winery

You’ll find Baer Winery nestled in Woodinville’s unassuming Warehouse Winery district, amongst a bevy of small wineries and tasting rooms. This family‑owned winery is operated by Lisa Baer and Les Baer, the sister and father of the winery’s founding winemaker, Lance Baer (who passed away in 2007). Dedicated to producing handcrafted wines from the best fruit available in Washington, Baer focuses on distinctive Bordeaux-style blends –the signature blend being the lush Merlot-Cabernet Franc driven “Ursa.” Baer is also developing small lots of Bordeaux single-varietals and reserve blends, and has recently increased production of its up and coming un-oaked Chardonnay, “Shard.” You can visit the Baer family and taste the wines at their cozy tasting room, located adjacent to the warehouse production facility – open Saturday and Sunday from 1-5pm.
