Convergence Zone Cellars – Woodinville Wine Country’s Winery of the Week

Convergence Zone Cellars (also known as CZ Cellars) is a family-run micro-winery located in Woodinville’s Warehouse District. Named after our unique Puget Sound weather phenomenon, CZ Cellars has produced several award-winning weather-themed wines since opening in 2010: Storm Front (our signature Merlot-Cabernet blend), Dewpoint (the driest Riesling in Washington), and Sunbreak (an off-dry Chenin Blanc).

Winemaker Scott Greenberg started making wine at home from wine kits, then from grapes. After 5 years, he decided to rent some warehouse space and produce wine commercially. Scott is an alumni of the NW Wine Academy winemaking program and is Burien’s Community Development Director ("the day job that pays for the winery").

The entire Greenberg family (Monica, Ryan, Danielle and Troy) is active in winery operations–serving customers in our tasting room, cleaning hoses, running pumps, marketing and website design. Chester the Winery Dog also helps with customer relations. We are currently sold out of all wine except Dewpoint and will re-open our tasting room in November. Check our website at www.czcellars.com for information on upcoming events and our fall release.
